It rains in Antwerpen

First surprise here was the amount of Orthodox Jews. When first arrived here we thought there is some kind of a conference when we met so many men wearing black hats and long black jackets. Also ladies had black dresses and funny tiny hats. The next morning we also met small boys and girls with simimar styles and learned that our apartment was at the area were they lived.

Even the boys had similar hair style as their dad.
On rainy days the hats were covered with plastic.

We spent our rainy day riding with trams from place to place.

Trams were like a metro partly driving underground

We also visited Rembrandt huis, that was advertised to be David Bowie’s favourite museum.

Adam and Eve from his early period

In the heavy rain we searched for a restaurant Elfhte bod, that was recommended by a. friend. As we already had decided to go in a next restaurant, it was finally in front of us.
