Yesterday in Brugge. We took a 1,5 hours train drive from Antwerpen to Brugge. The train station building was modern, but from the other side of the street the beautiful park area with canals started.
Visiting Brugge has been a long time plan for me. Its medieval center buildings and canals were beautiful and romantic, but so crowded with tourists, that it was almost a relief to take a train back to Antwerpen. This was similar experience as with Capri or Sorrento last spring. Too many tourists spoil the place.
In the outskirts even local people and life was present.
